Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to target specific market segments, modernization opportunities and customer requirements.
* Conduct market research to identify potential projects, industry trends and new service sales opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, contractors and client representatives.
* Generate leads and develop sales pipelines through prospecting, networking, cold calling and online enquiry platforms.
* Monitor customer portals and Ventures Online to identify relevant enquiries and project leads for the sales team.
* Coordinate with manufacturers to confirm technical requirements, pricing inputs and project-related documentation.
* Prepare sales presentations, sample boards, proposals and supporting materials for customer meetings.
* Negotiate contracts, support commercial discussions and close sales deals in line with business targets.
* Book confirmed orders by following the required procurement and internal approval processes.
* Manage day-to-day administrative support for the service sales department, including correspondence and sales reporting.
* Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales data in CRM and related ERP systems.
* Coordinate with engineering, operations, production, shipping and project management teams to support timely order fulfillment.
* Involve management at the right stage to help secure strategic or high-value projects.
* Mentor and guide junior sales representatives to improve lead handling, customer follow-up and sales discipline.
* Identify sales process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reporting quality and customer response time.
* Provide useful input on product development, service positioning and marketing initiatives.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, MBA or a related field is preferred.
* 8-10 years of service sales experience, preferably in modernization, construction, building services, technical products or project-based sales.
* Strong ability to identify leads, develop sales pipelines and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
* Good understanding of customer portals, procurement workflows, manufacturer coordination and proposal preparation.
* Proven experience in managing customer relationships, negotiations, sales reporting and CRM updates.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, project management and supply chain.
* Strong communication, presentation and commercial discussion skills.
* Confident in handling senior decision-makers and coordinating complex sales opportunities.
* Organized, target-driven and able to manage multiple enquiries, proposals and project follow-ups at the same time.
