The Structural Inspector
provides independent site verification that structural construction is being completed to the required technical and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
* Inspect structural construction activities at foundation, framing, intermediate, and completion stages.
* Compare executed works with approved structural drawings, specifications, and applicable technical requirements.
* Confirm compliance with UAE building codes and relevant international construction standards.
* Examine structural components for visible defects, dimensional inconsistencies, and departures from approved plans.
* Assess construction methods to determine whether they meet required quality and engineering expectations.
* Verify the quality of materials incorporated into structural works.
* Review workmanship against established project acceptance criteria.
* Carry out site measurements and physical checks using suitable inspection equipment.
* Identify structural deficiencies before affected work progresses to subsequent construction stages.
* Record inspection results using detailed notes, photographs, measurements, and supporting evidence.
