The position requires disciplined field assessment combined with clear technical reporting. Inspection findings must be supported by measurements, photographs, records, and practical recommendations that enable contractors and engineering teams to address deficiencies efficiently and maintain project momentum.

* Compare executed works with approved structural drawings, specifications, and applicable technical requirements.
* Confirm compliance with UAE building codes and relevant international construction standards.
* Examine structural components for visible defects, dimensional inconsistencies, and departures from approved plans.
* Assess construction methods to determine whether they meet required quality and engineering expectations.
* Verify the quality of materials incorporated into structural works.
* Review workmanship against established project acceptance criteria.
* Carry out site measurements and physical checks using suitable inspection equipment.
* Identify structural deficiencies before affected work progresses to subsequent construction stages.
* Record inspection results using detailed notes, photographs, measurements, and supporting evidence.
* Prepare clear inspection reports describing findings, observations, and required actions.
* Maintain complete records of inspections, test information, approvals, and compliance documentation.

* Coordinate with project stakeholders when deficiencies affect programme activities or related disciplines.
* Escalate significant structural, quality, or safety issues through established project procedures.

* Observe construction operations for conditions that may present safety or compliance concerns.
* Support quality assurance processes through consistent application of inspection requirements.
* Review relevant test results where these form part of structural acceptance criteria.
* Assist in maintaining traceability between inspected work, technical documentation, and corrective actions.

The role requires confidence in reading technical documentation, recording field findings, and preparing professional inspection reports that can support project decisions and corrective actions.

Familiarity with construction management software, digital reporting tools, and commonly used inspection equipment will be valuable.
