We are looking for a skilled Utility Inspector to oversee the installation, maintenance, and functionality of essential utility systems, including water, sewer, gas, electricity, and telecommunications. The role requires ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory codes, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in utility infrastructure inspections and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of utility systems, including water lines, sewer networks, gas pipelines, electrical infrastructure, and telecom installations
- Ensure all utility systems are installed and maintained as per project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations
- Identify non-compliance issues, recommend corrective actions, and report deficiencies to supervisors or relevant authorities
- Perform tests such as pressure tests for water pipelines, leak detection for gas lines, and functionality checks for electrical systems
- Monitor the operational performance of utilities to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks to detect potential failures before they escalate
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, findings, and required corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Respond to emergency situations such as gas leaks or power outages, assisting in inspections and assessments to pinpoint issues
- Ensure that all utility modifications and installations comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility inspection, infrastructure supervision, or a related role
- Strong knowledge of utility construction, maintenance procedures, and regulatory codes
- Experience in testing utility systems, including water pressure testing, leak detection, and electrical safety checks
- Familiarity with local construction and safety regulations in the UAE
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergency situations
