Position Overview
Azizi Developments is seeking a Senior Architect with proven experience in residential and hospitality interior projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects through all phases, from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and alignment with project requirements. This role demands strong creative vision, deep technical understanding, and the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project design and execution from inception to final delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Lead the creative process to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions for residential and hospitality interiors.
* Collaborate closely with the design team, contractors, and consultants to address site-specific requirements.
* Prepare GFC drawing logs, RFP logs (subcontractor), and RFP update trackers for assigned projects.
* Generate look-ahead schedules from the engineering program to align design and site activities.
* Respond to site RFIs and coordinate with the design team where necessary.
* Conduct site coordination meetings with main contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth progress.
* Review and approve shop drawings across all disciplines, uploading final versions to INAXUS for approval.
* Provide guidance and approve shop drawings prepared by other engineers within the team.
* Offer alternative design solutions to address on-site challenges without compromising design integrity.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
* Minimum 7 years of experience, with a strong portfolio in residential and hospitality interiors.
* Proficient in design communication both visually and verbally; excellent English language skills, written and spoken.
* Strong understanding of the construction process and design coordination.
* Proficient in architectural software tools and project management platforms such as INAXUS.
* Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
