Role Context
The Arabic A Coordinator - Curriculum will support the planning, delivery, monitoring, and improvement of Arabic A learning across the school. The role requires coordination with teachers, academic leaders, students, and school administration to ensure Arabic language standards are maintained in line with curriculum expectations and UAE education requirements. The successful candidate should be able to join immediately and contribute to a structured, student-centered academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Arabic A curriculum planning, lesson delivery standards, and academic expectations across assigned year groups.
* Support Arabic language teachers with instructional planning, classroom resources, assessment practices, and student progress tracking.
* Monitor teaching quality and help maintain effective Arabic A learning outcomes in line with school objectives.
* Assist in reviewing schemes of work, lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment strategies for Arabic language instruction.
* Work with academic leadership to ensure Arabic A teaching aligns with UAE educational expectations and school curriculum standards.
* Support students in developing Arabic reading, writing, speaking, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills.
* Coordinate Arabic-related academic activities, assessments, intervention plans, and enrichment initiatives.
* Provide guidance to teachers on differentiated learning, student engagement, and classroom management approaches.
* Maintain clear academic records, progress reports, feedback documentation, and curriculum-related files.
* Communicate professionally with colleagues, students, parents, and school leadership as required.
* Contribute to school improvement plans, department meetings, inspections, and internal academic reviews.
* Promote a positive learning culture that values Arabic language development, cultural understanding, and student achievement.
Ideal Profile
* MA or BA degree in Arabic Language.
* Degree certificate should be attested in the UAE.
* Minimum 1-2 years of UAE experience in the same field is required.
* Previous experience as an Arabic A Coordinator, Arabic Teacher, Arabic Language Lead, or similar school-based role.
* Experience in a British Curriculum school will be an advantage.
* Fluent English communication skills.
* Strong Arabic language knowledge with the ability to support teaching, assessment, and curriculum coordination.
* Ability to work collaboratively with academic teams, teachers, students, and school management.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to academic standards, documentation, and student progress.
