Role Context
The Arabic Teacher - British Curriculum will plan and deliver Arabic language lessons that help students develop reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding. The role requires strong classroom management, student engagement, lesson planning, and communication skills. Both experienced teachers and fresh candidates may be considered, with preference given to immediate joiners and candidates under spouse visa.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with school curriculum standards and student learning needs.
* Teach Arabic reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension skills.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student confidence and active participation.
* Use age-appropriate teaching methods, classroom activities, and learning resources to make Arabic lessons interactive and meaningful.
* Support students with different language abilities through differentiated instruction and individual guidance.
* Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, classroom tasks, and learning materials that support Arabic language development.
* Assess student progress through classwork, homework, oral responses, written tasks, quizzes, and formative assessments.
* Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of progress, attendance, attainment, and classroom performance.
* Promote appreciation of Arabic language, culture, communication, and values within the school community.
* Maintain strong classroom routines, positive behavior expectations, and effective classroom management.
* Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to support curriculum delivery and student achievement.
* Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress, learning expectations, and support needs.
* Use educational technology and digital resources to enhance Arabic teaching and student engagement.
* Participate in school events, staff meetings, professional development, and curriculum-related activities.
* Follow school policies related to safeguarding, inclusion, assessment, behavior management, and student wellbeing.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Education, or a related field.
* Native Arabic speaker with strong Arabic language knowledge.
* Experienced teachers and fresh candidates are accepted.
* Experience teaching Arabic in a British curriculum school will be an advantage.
* Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
