Position Overview
Aldar Education is seeking an accomplished Director of Managed Schools to lead its ADNOC school portfolio in the UAE with an immediate start. The successful candidate will hold educational and commercial line-management responsibility for the managed schools.
The role will lead school-improvement strategies, academic quality, marketing and enrolment performance. Working with the Director of Education and Executive Leadership Team, the incumbent will ensure that schools deliver strong student outcomes while meeting strategic, operational and commercial objectives.

Role Context
The Director will oversee Aldar Education’s portfolio of ADNOC managed schools and provide leadership to School Principals and their senior teams. The position combines educational strategy, quality assurance, commercial oversight and stakeholder management.
The incumbent will ensure that managed schools maintain a shared vision while responding effectively to their individual communities. Success will be measured through student achievement, inspection outcomes, organisational performance, enrolment and sustainable financial results.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction across the ADNOC managed-school portfolio.
Establish a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Build leadership capacity across current and future school operations.
Translate Aldar Education’s mission and strategy into school-level priorities.
Ensure Principals and leadership teams articulate a shared vision.
Work with the Director of Education and Executive Leadership Team.
Deliver agreed outcomes against performance indicators and standards.
Advise headquarters departments and Principals on school strategy.
Promote efficient and effective school-operating processes.
Maintain strong collaboration with HR, Finance, Marketing, Enrolment and IT.
Lead improvement strategies that raise student achievement and progress.
Use educational data to identify priorities and evaluate impact.
Support schools in achieving improved inspection outcomes.
Quality-assure school development plans and strategic-improvement plans.
Review school self-evaluations and take appropriate follow-up action.
Lead the implementation and review of learning and assessment frameworks.
Use benchmarking and value-added data to monitor student performance.
Quality-assure curriculum provision across managed schools.
Champion evidence-informed educational thinking and new initiatives.
Advise Principals on strategies that promote equitable student outcomes.
Support inspection planning, preparation and quality assurance of school self-evaluation forms.
Coach and mentor Principals and other senior school leaders.
Lead talent-management and succession-development activities.
Oversee marketing and enrolment strategies across the school portfolio.
Promote the company positively to internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to strengthen the organisation’s presence and reputation.
Represent Aldar Education at school and community functions.
Engage professionally with parents and build community trust.
Develop relationships with education authorities and government entities.
Maintain productive relationships with headquarters leadership teams.
Monitor school strategic plans, targets and implementation progress.
Connect schools and promote the exchange of effective practices.
Develop strategies that raise teaching and learning standards.
Identify internal experts who can support school-improvement priorities.
Plan and deliver training programmes addressing identified needs.
Provide regular monitoring, evaluation and performance reports.
Support commercial performance and responsible use of resources.
Promote economic value and sustainable return on investment.
Maintain compliance with government and education-authority requirements.
Complete other strategic duties assigned by the Director of Education.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership.
NPQH or a comparable professional leadership qualification is acceptable.
Minimum 15 years of experience within education.
At least five years of school leadership at Principal or Head Teacher level.
Alternatively, at least five years in an education-group leadership position.
Proven experience leading improvement across multiple schools.
Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and school inspection.
Ability to coach senior leaders and build organisational capability.
Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
Strong commercial awareness and strategic judgement.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
Excellent organisation, follow-through and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of government compliance requirements.
Ability to promote trust, fairness and employee engagement.
