Role Context
The Female PE Teacher plays an important role in supporting students’ physical development, health awareness, teamwork, and confidence through structured Physical Education programs. This position combines classroom instruction, sports event coordination, and departmental planning to ensure students receive a complete and high-quality physical education experience across the school.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that support student fitness, skill development, and active participation.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and practical activities aligned with curriculum standards.
Develop and maintain reliable, realistic, and effective student assessment and evaluation procedures.
Record, monitor, and report student progress, attendance, and performance accurately.
Ensure teaching practices follow strong hygiene, safety, and wellbeing standards during all physical education activities.
Maintain quality assurance across the complete physical education experience for all students.
Support the development and implementation of departmental aims, objectives, priorities, and operational procedures.
Manage and maintain sports equipment, PE resources, and subject-related facilities effectively.
Organize and coordinate whole school events including House Days, Sports Days, and Swimming Galas.
Lead Inter-House sports competitions, sports trips, workshops, and student activity displays.
Collaborate with advisory services, school departments, and leadership teams to strengthen student participation and outcomes.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive sportsmanship across the school environment.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is required.
Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent certification is preferred.
Previous experience as a PE Teacher in UAE schools is highly preferred.
Fluency in Arabic language for teaching and communication is mandatory.
Strong classroom and sports activity management skills.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of student safety, hygiene, and wellbeing practices.
Ability to organize large-scale school sports events and competitions.
