Role Context
The Foundation Stage and HRT Teachers - EYFS will support student learning through structured lesson planning, play-based learning, classroom routines, observation-led assessment, and child-centered teaching. The role requires teachers who can create a safe and positive learning environment, promote early literacy and numeracy, support social and emotional development, and contribute to strong learning outcomes. The selected candidates should be ready to join in August 2026 and work collaboratively within a British curriculum school community.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging EYFS and homeroom lessons aligned with British curriculum expectations and school academic standards.
* Create a safe, caring, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for Foundation Stage and homeroom learners.
* Support children’s development across communication and language, physical development, personal social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts.
* Use play-based learning, stories, songs, inquiry activities, creative tasks, group work, and hands-on experiences to encourage active participation.
* Prepare age-appropriate lesson plans, classroom resources, displays, worksheets, learning centers, assessments, and practical activities.
* Observe, assess, and record student progress in line with EYFS curriculum expectations and school reporting procedures.
* Identify individual learning needs and provide differentiated support for students with varied abilities and developmental stages.
* Promote early literacy, phonics awareness, numeracy development, communication skills, confidence, independence, and social growth.
* Manage classroom routines, behavior expectations, transitions, and daily learning activities effectively.
* Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress, wellbeing, behavior, and learning milestones.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, coordinators, school leaders, and colleagues to support curriculum delivery and student development.
* Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, observations, assessments, attendance, progress, and classroom documentation.
* Participate in school events, assemblies, parent meetings, staff meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning activities.
* Follow school policies related to safeguarding, inclusion, child protection, health and safety, assessment, and student wellbeing.
Ideal Profile
* B.Ed qualification is mandatory.
* B.Ed certificate should be attested from the UAE.
* Postgraduate or undergraduate qualification is required.
* Good knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the same field is required.
* Experience teaching Foundation Stage, EYFS, KG, Homeroom, or early years learners in a school environment.
* Experience in the British Curriculum will be an advantage.
* Excellent English communication skills.
* Strong classroom management, lesson planning, student observation, and assessment skills.
* Ability to create a nurturing, creative, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
* Passionate about early childhood education, student wellbeing, and holistic development.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, assistants, parents, and school leadership.
* Professional approach to documentation, parent communication, and school responsibilities.
