Role Context
The Government Relation Executive - Compliance role supports Aldar Education schools by helping maintain accurate regulatory records, staff approvals, employee documentation, and school licensing requirements. The position plays a key role in ensuring that school employees remain compliant with government authority requirements while supporting the operations team with timely renewals, approvals, and document submissions.
This role requires confidentiality, urgency, accuracy, and professional communication with staff, school operations teams, and government entities. The successful candidate will help strengthen compliance culture across the school by keeping records updated, monitoring expiry dates, reporting risks, and supporting smooth coordination with relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Support compliance with guidelines and regulations issued by Aldar Education, ADEK, KHDA, MOHRE, ICP, and other regulatory bodies.
* Share updated policies, procedures, rules, and government requirements with school teams where required.
* Liaise with ADEK, KHDA, MOHRE, ICP, and other government entities to support effective communication and timely processing.
* Maintain confidentiality, data protection, and secure handling of sensitive employee information.
* Support the operations team with school licensing compliance according to regulatory authority requirements.
* Report non-compliance concerns and recommend practical solutions to reduce risk.
* Monitor the ADEK PASS Staff Information System and KHDA staff approval processes.
* Follow up with employees to collect required documents for ADEK, KHDA, MOHRE, ICP, visa, work permit, and Emirates ID compliance.
* Ensure new employees meet ADEK or KHDA staff eligibility requirements.
* Track ADEK appointment letters, KHDA approvals, work permits, labour cards, residence visas, and Emirates ID validity.
* Coordinate renewals on time and communicate document submission timelines to employees.
* Liaise with school operations teams to ensure external staff approvals are completed and recorded where applicable.
* Issue health screening appointment payment authorisations for new hires and renewals.
* Support medical insurance enrolments for eligible employees and cancellations for departed staff.
* Check alignment of employee job titles across Aldar Education contracts, ADEK or KHDA approvals, MOHRE documents, work permits, visas, and Emirates ID records.
* Escalate cases where employees do not provide required documents within defined timelines.
* Monitor school licence Emiratisation compliance and highlight any risk of fines.
* Support issuing and renewing school licences with authorities such as ADEK, KHDA, Civil Defence, DOH, DHA, DOT, RTA, and ADAFSA where relevant.
* Maintain employee filing, archiving, and document control records accurately.
* Participate in training, learning activities, and performance development as required.
* Carry out additional duties assigned by the leadership team.
Ideal Profile
* Minimum diploma in Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Office Management, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in administration, HR, government relations, or a relevant school-based role.
* Experience in a school environment governed by ADEK or KHDA is preferred.
* Good Arabic and English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong knowledge of ADEK, KHDA, MOHRE, and ICP rules, processes, documentation, and compliance expectations.
* Understanding of school inspection requirements, government approvals, visa processes, work permits, and employee records.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Able to work under pressure while managing urgent compliance deadlines.
* Team-oriented approach with strong customer service awareness.
* Proficient in computer systems, MS Office, and document tracking.
* Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
