The Head of Geography will lead the planning, delivery, and improvement of Geography teaching across key stages, with a focus on GCSE and A Level outcomes. * Support consistent classroom practice, positive learning routines, and inclusive teaching across the department.

* Encourage participation in extra-curricular activities, community events, fieldwork opportunities, and wider school life.

Ideal Profile

* B.Ed, Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Proven experience teaching Geography to GCSE and A Level classes.
* Experience in subject leadership, department coordination, or academic improvement preferred.
* Strong knowledge of British curriculum Geography, assessment practice, and examination requirements.
* Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
