Key Responsibilities
* Teach History lessons that develop student understanding of historical events, societies, evidence, interpretation, and global perspectives.
* Deliver the British curriculum with strong focus on GCSE and A Level preparation, academic progress, and high-quality learning outcomes.
* Plan creative lessons that encourage enquiry, debate, source analysis, critical thinking, extended writing, and independent research.

Ideal Profile
* B.Ed, Bachelor’s degree in History with PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification in Humanities or History.
* Proven experience teaching GCSE and A Level History within a British curriculum or international school environment.
* Strong subject knowledge with the ability to make historical topics engaging, relevant, and accessible.
* Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning through effective planning, assessment, and classroom practice.
* Creative and enthusiastic teaching approach both inside and outside the classroom.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with students, parents, teachers, and senior leaders.
