Role Context
The Homeroom Teacher plays a central role in guiding students’ academic progress, classroom engagement, and personal development. This position supports daily teaching, lesson planning, student wellbeing, and parent communication while ensuring the classroom reflects the standards of a leading British curriculum school in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on the British curriculum framework across assigned grade levels.
Plan classroom activities, learning materials, and assessments that support student understanding and academic growth.
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and discipline.
Monitor student progress regularly and provide clear feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, reports, and student development documentation.
Support students’ emotional, social, and behavioral development within the classroom environment.
Work closely with subject teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to improve student outcomes.
Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.
Apply KHDA guidelines and school policies to maintain teaching quality and compliance standards.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school programs where required.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education is mandatory.
Minimum one year of teaching experience in UAE British curriculum schools is required.
Strong knowledge of British curriculum teaching methods and classroom standards.
Good understanding of KHDA framework and UAE school compliance expectations.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural school environment.
