Role Context
The Islamic A and B Teacher plays an important role in developing students’ understanding of Islamic principles, values, ethics, and spiritual awareness through structured bilingual instruction. This position supports both academic achievement and character development while maintaining curriculum compliance with British curriculum requirements and UAE Ministry of Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Islamic A and B curriculum lessons in both Arabic and English according to UAE Ministry of Education standards and British curriculum requirements.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and classroom activities that support effective student learning and engagement.
Teach Islamic principles, values, ethics, Quranic understanding, and moral education using age-appropriate methods.
Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes discipline and active participation.
Assess student progress regularly and provide clear academic feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and student performance documentation.
Promote Islamic values, moral understanding, and social responsibility through interactive teaching strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leaders to strengthen curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Participate in parent meetings, school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Support compliance with KHDA expectations and UAE Ministry of Education educational standards.
Contribute to student wellbeing programs and wider extracurricular school activities when required.
Ideal Profile
Master’s degree in Islamic Studies is required.
Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Islamic A and B curriculum requirements in the UAE is essential.
Ability to teach fluently in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
Previous experience teaching in British curriculum schools is highly preferred.
Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a multicultural school environment.
