Role Context
The Islamic B Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned Islamic Studies lessons that strengthen students’ understanding of Islamic principles, values, and ethics. This role supports both academic achievement and character development while maintaining compliance with British curriculum expectations and UAE Ministry of Education standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Islamic B curriculum lessons in accordance with UAE Ministry of Education standards and British curriculum requirements.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and classroom activities that support effective student learning and engagement.
Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discipline and active participation.
Assess student progress regularly and provide clear academic feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
Promote Islamic values, moral understanding, and social responsibility through practical and interactive teaching methods.
Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and student performance documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leaders to improve curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Participate in parent meetings, school events, staff meetings, and continuous professional development sessions.
Support school compliance with KHDA and UAE Ministry of Education educational standards.
Contribute to wider student wellbeing programs and extracurricular school activities when required.
Ideal Profile
Master’s degree in Islamic Studies is required.
Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Islamic B curriculum requirements in the UAE is essential.
Previous experience teaching in British curriculum schools is highly preferred.
Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a multicultural school environment.
