Role Context
The Islamic B Teacher plays an important role in helping students understand Islamic values, ethics, and spiritual development through structured and engaging classroom learning. This position supports academic growth and character building while maintaining high teaching standards aligned with British curriculum expectations and UAE Ministry of Education requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Islamic B curriculum lessons aligned with UAE Ministry of Education standards and British curriculum requirements.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, classroom activities, and assessments that support strong student learning outcomes.
Teach Islamic values, principles, ethics, moral education, and Quranic understanding using age-appropriate teaching methods.
Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes discipline and active participation.
Assess student progress regularly and provide clear academic feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and student performance documentation.
Promote moral understanding, responsible citizenship, and positive behavior through values-based education.
Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leaders to strengthen curriculum delivery and academic standards.
Participate in parent meetings, school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Support compliance with KHDA expectations and UAE Ministry of Education educational standards.
Contribute to student wellbeing initiatives and wider school extracurricular activities when required.
Ideal Profile
Master’s degree in Islamic Studies is required.
Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Islamic B curriculum requirements in the UAE is essential.
Previous experience teaching within British curriculum schools is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a multicultural school environment.
