Role Context
The Islamic B Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned Islamic Studies lessons that strengthen students’ understanding of Islamic values, ethics, and principles. This role contributes to both academic development and character building while ensuring compliance with UAE education standards and British curriculum expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Islamic B curriculum lessons in accordance with UAE Ministry of Education standards and British curriculum requirements.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and classroom activities that support effective student learning.
Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and discipline.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
Promote Islamic values, ethical understanding, and social responsibility through practical and engaging teaching methods.
Maintain accurate academic records, reports, and student performance documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leaders to improve curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Participate in parent meetings, school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Support school compliance with KHDA and UAE Ministry of Education educational standards.
Contribute to wider school activities and student wellbeing programs where required.
Ideal Profile
Master’s degree in Islamic Studies is required.
Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Islamic B curriculum requirements in the UAE.
Previous experience teaching in British curriculum schools is highly preferred.
Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a multicultural school environment.
