Role Context
The Math Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening Mathematics teaching quality, curriculum delivery, and student achievement across assigned grade levels. This position works closely with teachers and school leadership to improve lesson planning, academic standards, and department performance while ensuring strong alignment with UAE educational frameworks and school goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Mathematics curriculum planning and academic coordination across the department.
Support teachers in improving subject knowledge, lesson delivery, and classroom pedagogy for stronger student outcomes.
Monitor lesson planning, assessments, and curriculum implementation aligned with school academic standards.
Review student progress and implement strategies to improve achievement and examination performance.
Conduct classroom observations and provide mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback to Mathematics teachers.
Collaborate with school leadership to support academic improvement plans and curriculum development.
Ensure consistent teaching quality and maintain high standards across all Mathematics classes.
Prepare academic reports, curriculum documentation, and department performance updates.
Support school inspections, audits, and compliance with educational standards and policies.
Participate in parent meetings, staff development sessions, and school academic planning activities.
Promote teamwork, innovation, and continuous professional development within the department.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics is mandatory.
Master’s degree in Mathematics or B.Ed. in Mathematics is required.
Minimum 3 years of UAE teaching experience in a similar role is mandatory.
Strong Mathematics subject knowledge and academic coordination experience are essential.
Previous experience in curriculum leadership or department coordination is highly preferred.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration abilities.
Good understanding of UAE teaching standards and educational compliance requirements.
