Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Mathematics department with a clear focus on curriculum quality, teaching standards, academic progress, and student achievement.
* Work directly with Mathematics teachers to improve subject knowledge, instructional skills, lesson delivery, and classroom pedagogy.
* Support teachers in planning effective Mathematics lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding, reasoning, numeracy, and problem-solving.
* Contribute actively to team planning, departmental targets, schemes of work, assessment planning, and academic improvement priorities.
* Work closely with school leaders to support the improvement of academic standards across Mathematics.
* Monitor teaching and learning through lesson observations, lesson plan reviews, student work checks, and assessment data analysis.
* Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and professional guidance to teachers to improve classroom outcomes.

* Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
* Master of Science in Mathematics.
* Bachelor of Education qualification is required.

* Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a school environment.
* Experience as a Math HOD, Mathematics Coordinator, Subject Lead, or senior Mathematics teacher will be an advantage.
