The Mathematics Teacher - Secondary Education will join GEMS Metropole School, Motor City and support students through high-quality Mathematics teaching in an innovative and eco-conscious campus. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that build confidence, accuracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
* Teach mathematical concepts clearly using structured explanations, practical examples, and student-centred learning strategies.
* Support student progress through effective assessment, targeted feedback, and regular review of learning outcomes.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varied abilities, learning styles, and academic goals.
* Create a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to question, explore, calculate, and think independently.
* Use creative teaching methods, digital tools, and real-world examples to make Mathematics meaningful and relevant.
* Promote sustainable thinking where appropriate by connecting mathematical learning with data, environment, resources, and responsible decision-making.
* Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, participation, homework, presentation, and academic effort.
* Collaborate with department colleagues to plan curriculum content, share resources, review progress, and improve teaching practice.
* Prepare students for internal assessments, external examinations, and future academic pathways where applicable.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and school leaders regarding progress, support needs, and learning targets.

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor of Education or Bachelor\'s degree in Mathematics with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience teaching Mathematics in a school environment is preferred.
