Role Context
The People and Culture Executive - HR Operations will act as a key HR support contact for allocated schools and clusters, helping ensure that employee lifecycle processes are delivered accurately, confidentially, and on time. The position supports the smooth operation of school staffing services by maintaining reliable HR records, coordinating payroll inputs, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, supporting employee relations documentation, and contributing to consistent people practices across Aldar Education’s growing school network in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily People and Culture operations across assigned schools and clusters, ensuring employees receive timely and professional HR service.
* Validate attendance reports and support monthly payroll cycles by coordinating accurate employee information within required deadlines.
* Process employee lifecycle updates including new joiners, terminations, salary revisions, staff changes, and related HR documentation.
* Maintain employee records in Oracle and other HR systems, ensuring data accuracy for reporting, audits, payroll, and compliance checks.
* Coordinate with HQ Payroll teams to verify end-of-service calculations, staff deductions, payroll queries, and employee payment updates.
* Prepare employee letters, approvals, HR forms, contract documents, and official records in line with internal processes.
* Support exit procedures for leavers, including clearance tracking, documentation completion, exit interviews, and final record updates.
* Track probation reviews and annual performance evaluation forms to help line managers complete employee assessments on schedule.
* Assist with benefits administration including accommodation, education allowance, staff entitlements, and related employee queries.
* Support recruitment activities such as CV screening, initial candidate calls, reference checks, offer processing, and recruitment event coordination.
* Help organize onboarding activities by collecting, verifying, and saving required documents in Oracle, EDMS, or approved HR platforms.
* Coordinate with government relations and HQ teams on MOHRE, ICP, visa, token submission, and related employment process requirements.
* Assist with induction sessions for new joiners and contribute to a smooth, welcoming, and well-structured onboarding experience.
* Support the Cluster People and Culture Manager with employee relations casework, investigations, disciplinary documentation, and policy application.
* Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters, personnel files, payroll details, and investigation documents.
* Prepare regular HR reports covering onboarding, offboarding, cost-to-company dashboards, employee relations updates, and quality assurance checks.
* Respond to cluster-level and HQ data requests with accurate, organized, and timely information.
* Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that support operational efficiency and consistent HR service delivery.
* Promote a positive people-focused culture by reflecting Aldar Education’s values in daily communication and employee interactions.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in People and Culture, HR operations, employee services, or a similar support role.
* Previous experience in an education, school, hospitality, or service-led environment is highly valuable.
* Working knowledge of UAE labour law, employee documentation, payroll coordination, and HR compliance is desirable.
* Familiarity with Oracle Fusion or similar HR information systems will be an advantage.
* Strong ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism.
* Good understanding of onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, employee records, and HR reporting processes.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to support employees, school leaders, and central HR teams professionally.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines across payroll, recruitment, documentation, and reporting.
* High attention to detail and confidence in checking employee data, forms, letters, and system records.
* Ability to work in a matrixed environment and coordinate across school-based teams, cluster managers, HQ departments, and external process partners.
* Flexibility to travel within assigned school clusters when required.
* Fluency in English is required, while Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.
