Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons that support strong academic progress and student confidence.

* Communicate regularly with parents to support student wellbeing, academic progress, and personal development.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, sustainability initiatives, and wider community programmes.
* Follow safeguarding expectations, school policies, professional standards, and GEMS values at all times.
Ideal Profile
* B.Ed, Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification in Primary Education or a related field.
* Experience teaching KS2, upper primary, or a similar age group in a school environment.
* Strong knowledge of primary curriculum planning, assessment, classroom management, and effective pedagogy.
* Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that motivate students and support measurable progress.
* Creative and enthusiastic teaching style with interest in sustainability and future-focused education.
* Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and school leaders.
* Confident using digital tools and classroom technology to enhance learning.
* Reflective practitioner with commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
