Role Context
The Primary Mathematics Teacher - Immediate Joining will plan, teach, assess, and support Mathematics learning across primary year groups. The role requires clear lesson delivery, strong classroom management, structured assessment practices, and the ability to make Mathematics engaging and accessible for young learners. The successful candidate should have relevant Mathematics qualifications, UAE experience in a similar role, and immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Primary Mathematics lessons aligned with school curriculum standards and student learning needs.
* Teach core Mathematics concepts including number operations, place value, fractions, measurement, geometry, data handling, patterns, and problem-solving.
* Support students in developing numeracy confidence, logical thinking, accuracy, reasoning, and independent learning habits.
* Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, learning resources, and digital materials to support effective classroom delivery.
* Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varied abilities, learning styles, and academic levels.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment that encourages participation, discipline, and curiosity.
* Assess student progress through classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, observations, projects, and formative assessment methods.
* Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of attainment, progress, attendance, behavior, and classroom performance.
* Identify learning gaps and support students through revision, intervention activities, and targeted classroom support.
* Use practical examples, manipulatives, visual aids, and educational technology to make Mathematics learning meaningful and interactive.
* Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership to support curriculum delivery and student achievement.
* Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress, learning needs, and classroom expectations.
* Participate in staff meetings, school activities, professional development, curriculum planning, and assessment-related tasks.
* Follow school policies related to safeguarding, inclusion, behavior management, assessment, and student wellbeing.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics is mandatory.
* Master’s degree in Mathematics or B.Ed in Mathematics will be an advantage.
* Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in a similar Primary Mathematics teaching role is mandatory.
* Strong Mathematics subject knowledge with the ability to explain concepts clearly to primary students.
* Previous experience teaching Mathematics in a school environment is required.
* Strong classroom management, lesson planning, assessment, and student progress tracking skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, and differentiated Mathematics lessons.
* Professional approach to parent communication, academic documentation, student wellbeing, and school responsibilities.
