* Work closely with fellow teachers to plan lessons, share resources, and maintain consistent teaching standards.
* Support students whose first language is not English through clear instruction, differentiation, and inclusive learning methods.
* Observe, assess, and record student progress using school assessment processes and Target Tracker.
* Use assessment information to improve planning, classroom provision, and intervention support.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress, achievement, and wellbeing.
* Apply the school behaviour policy fairly while promoting self-control, respect, and learner independence.
* Collaborate with curriculum support staff and external specialists where required to support student development.
* Contribute to curriculum action groups, school events, resources, assessment planning, and special activities.
* Use systems such as CPOMS appropriately for student wellbeing and safeguarding communication.
* Take part in extra-curricular activities and support the wider life and ethos of the school.

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related subject.
* PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification.
* Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
* Clear understanding of primary curriculum delivery, lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management.
* Previous experience supporting students whose first language is not English is an advantage.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the school community.
* Passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to educating the whole child.
* Professional, respectful, and attentive to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
