Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic, operational, and financial direction of the school with clear accountability for performance and improvement.
* Provide purposeful leadership to staff, students, parents, and the wider school community.
* Develop and implement a school improvement plan based on data analysis, classroom observation, and measurable priorities.
* Monitor and evaluate school performance, teaching quality, learning standards, student progress, and overall achievement.
* Maintain a school environment that promotes outstanding teaching, effective learning, positive behaviour, and high expectations.
* Strengthen systems for staff performance management, including target setting, development planning, and professional accountability.
* Build a culture where staff feel valued, supported, and responsible for the success of the school.
* Develop effective links with the wider community, including business and industry partners, to enrich curriculum opportunities.
* Ensure school operations support innovation, inclusion, safeguarding, compliance, and excellent student outcomes.
* Work closely with education group leadership to align school priorities with wider organisational goals and Abu Dhabi education expectations.
* Guide senior leaders and teaching teams in improving standards, curriculum delivery, assessment practice, and learner engagement.
* Represent the school professionally with parents, regulators, external agencies, and community stakeholders.
Ideal Profile
* BA in Education or BA Degree with a relevant teaching qualification is essential.
* Master’s in Education, Education Leadership, NPQH, or a similar professional qualification is required.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in education.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
* Proven track record in strategic school leadership, school improvement, and raising academic standards.
* Strong understanding of curriculum leadership, teaching quality, student achievement, and assessment data.
* Experience managing school operations, financial planning, staff performance, and organisational development.
* Ability to inspire staff, engage students, communicate with parents, and build trust across a school community.
* Confident working with education regulators, external agencies, and wider community partners.
* Strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, and change management skills.
