Role
The Principal Secretary will provide the administrative structure that allows the Principal to focus on school leadership and academic priorities. The position connects the Principal\'s office with staff, parents, students, visitors, and external stakeholders.
Accurate organization and timely communication will be essential for keeping leadership meetings, correspondence, decisions, and school activities progressing without avoidable delays.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Principal\'s calendar, appointments, meetings, and daily schedule.
* Prioritize meeting requests and coordinate suitable times with internal and external participants.
* Prepare letters, emails, reports, presentations, notices, and official correspondence.
* Screen telephone calls, messages, visitors, and requests directed to the Principal\'s office.
* Organize meeting agendas, supporting documents, venues, and attendance details.
* Record accurate meeting minutes and distribute approved actions to responsible team members.
The secretary will maintain a reliable follow-up system so that decisions, requested information, and administrative tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
* Maintain confidential records and control access to sensitive school information.
* Organize electronic and physical files for efficient retrieval.
* Coordinate communication between the Principal and academic or administrative departments.
* Receive parents, employees, visitors, and external stakeholders professionally.
* Support school events, leadership meetings, inspections, and official visits.
* Track deadlines connected with reports, approvals, submissions, and scheduled activities.
* Arrange travel, appointments, or external meetings when required.
* Verify documents for accuracy before forwarding them for the Principal\'s review or signature.
* Provide general executive and administrative assistance during busy operational periods.
* Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in every interaction.
Ideal Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor\'s degree in any subject.
A minimum of 1 year of UAE experience in a comparable Principal Secretary, Executive Secretary, or senior administrative-support role is mandatory.
The preferred candidate will demonstrate excellent organization, written and verbal communication, time management, confidentiality, and attention to detail. The ability to manage several priorities while remaining calm and professional is essential.
Candidates must be physically present in the United Arab Emirates and available to join immediately. Female applicants holding an own sponsor visa or spouse-sponsored visa will receive preference.
