Role Context
The Secondary French Teacher plays a key role in developing students’ language proficiency, communication confidence, and cultural understanding across senior secondary grades. This position supports curriculum planning, academic progress, and examination preparation while maintaining strong teaching standards aligned with IGCSE, A Level, and British curriculum expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver French language lessons across senior secondary grades including IGCSE and A Level classes.
Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation aligned with curriculum standards.
Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, assessments, and academic resources that support student participation and achievement.
Design and deliver effective curriculum plans that improve student engagement and language confidence.
Assess student performance regularly and maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate academic progress with parents and school leadership.
Offer academic guidance, mentoring, and additional support to students requiring improvement.
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that supports active learning.
Collaborate with department heads, teachers, and coordinators to improve curriculum delivery and examination readiness.
Participate in staff meetings, parent meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
Apply school policies and educational standards to maintain quality teaching and compliance.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in French is required.
B.Ed. qualification will be an added advantage.
Proven experience teaching French for IGCSE students is highly preferred.
Experience teaching A Level and senior secondary grades is essential.
Excellent communication skills in both French and English are required.
Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills.
Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Candidates under spouse visa will have an added advantage.
Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
