Role Context
The Secondary Mathematics Teacher plays an important role in developing students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and academic confidence through structured Mathematics education. This position supports curriculum delivery, student assessment, and classroom engagement while maintaining high teaching standards aligned with British curriculum expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for secondary students across Years 7 to 9 following British curriculum standards.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and classroom activities that support student understanding and achievement.
Support students in building strong mathematical concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and academic growth.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, reports, and academic performance.
Support students preparing for IGCSE Mathematics pathways where applicable.
Collaborate with department heads, teachers, and coordinators to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.
Apply KHDA expectations and school policies to maintain educational quality and compliance standards.
Ideal Profile
Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field is required.
B.Ed. or M.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
Minimum one year of UAE teaching experience in a British curriculum school is required.
Experience teaching Mathematics for Years 7 to 9 is essential.
Familiarity with IGCSE Mathematics curriculum is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
