The role involves delivering high-quality, differentiated instruction across various subject areas to meet the diverse needs of students. You will be responsible for lesson planning, curriculum delivery, performance assessment, and maintaining a positive classroom culture. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and the ability to create engaging learning experiences for secondary students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver well-structured lessons based on the UK National Curriculum and IGCSE/A-Level frameworks
Plan, prepare, and document lessons that cater to different learning styles and student needs
Monitor and report student progress, setting goals for academic achievement
Maintain accurate records for curriculum planning, assessments, attendance, and instructional resources
Use educational technology and multimedia to enhance classroom engagement
Support students’ academic and personal development through guidance and mentorship
Encourage inclusivity and cultural awareness across the classroom environment
Carry out administrative and clerical duties including assessment reports and substitute plans
Collaborate with academic teams to support curriculum improvement and school development initiatives
Job Requirements / Job Expectations
Bachelor of Education or equivalent degree with teaching qualification
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a British curriculum school preferred
Strong subject matter knowledge and understanding of differentiated instruction
Skilled in classroom management and student engagement strategies
Ability to use modern educational technology to support teaching and learning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
