Key Responsibilities
* Deliver well-planned Arabic and Islamic lessons that motivate students and support strong learning outcomes.
* Create
* Plan, prepare, and present learning activities that meet the needs of different ability levels.
* Use assessment information and classroom observations to guide future teaching, intervention, and student support.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate clearly with parents during meetings and school updates.
* Work closely with fellow teachers, curriculum teams, and support staff to improve lesson quality and student achievement.
* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and self-control in line with the school behaviour policy.
* Organise learning resources, displays, and classroom materials that support an engaging Arabic and Islamic curriculum.
* Support school events, activities, curriculum action groups, and wider community initiatives when required.
* Embed the school’s learner values, teacher expectations, and child-centred approach across daily teaching practice.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic Education, Islamic Education, or a related subject with PGCE or an approved teaching qualification.
* Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience in Arabic and Islamic subjects.
* Strong understanding of curriculum planning, classroom assessment, and student-centred teaching methods.
* Previous experience teaching students whose first language may not be English is an advantage.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
* Professional attitude with a clear commitment to safeguarding, child wellbeing, and inclusive education.
* Active interest in extracurricular activities, school events, and whole-child development.
* Positive, respectful, and solution-focused approach to daily school life.
* Ability to reside in the same Emirate as the assigned school.
* Clean police clearance or enhanced safeguarding check as required by the school.
