Role Context
The Senior Operations Manager plays a critical role in leading and optimizing non-academic operations across the group of schools. This position works closely with School Principals, senior leadership teams, and the Group Head of Operations to ensure efficient administration, regulatory compliance, cost control, and strong governance while maintaining high service standards across all campuses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across all group schools to ensure consistency and performance excellence.
Develop, implement, and monitor standardized operating procedures for improved efficiency and service quality.
Ensure full compliance with KHDA, MOE, DHA, Dubai Municipality, and other regulatory authority requirements.
Oversee school operations including administration, facilities management, transportation, health and safety, and support services.
Lead training and development initiatives for facilities teams and support service staff.
Support budgeting processes, cost control strategies, and resource optimization across multiple campuses.
Coordinate closely with MSOs, procurement teams, and leadership teams for smooth operational execution.
Prepare accurate operational reports, performance summaries, and compliance documentation for Board-level review.
Respond to inspection findings and lead corrective action plans to maintain operational excellence.
Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and contractual compliance across outsourced services.
Strengthen governance, risk management, and service delivery standards across all operational functions.
Support long-term institutional growth through strategic planning and operational improvements.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Education Management, or a related field is required.
Previous senior-level operations management experience within the education sector is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of KHDA, MOE, DHA, Dubai Municipality, and UAE school compliance standards is essential.
Proven experience managing multi-site operations, facilities, and support services.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
Excellent budgeting, cost control, and procurement coordination skills.
Strong reporting, analytical, and performance monitoring abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
