Role Context
The Student Affairs Manager is responsible for leading all student-facing services including admissions support, counselling, trainee distribution, academic monitoring, and engagement programs. The role ensures students receive the academic, psychological, and administrative support needed to succeed while aligning trainee development with ADNOC Group workforce planning and long-term talent development goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage student registration, enrolment, counselling, and trainee support services across academic and technical programs
* Supervise student registration and administration teams, counselling sections, and trainee support functions to enhance student experience
* Develop and implement department goals aligned with ATA and ADNOC strategies for trainee engagement and retention
* Coordinate trainee distribution to specialties, companies, On-the-Job Training, and development programs based on business requirements
* Monitor trainee attendance, academic performance, attitude, and disciplinary compliance according to institutional policies
* Ensure timely reporting and implementation of appropriate intervention strategies to improve trainee performance and retention
* Work closely with Academic and On-the-Job Departments to support smooth student progression and operational coordination
* Coordinate with ADNOC departments and group companies to identify annual intake requirements by quantity and discipline
* Support counselling services through academic guidance, psychological support, and career development assistance
* Liaise with government entities, high schools, and external stakeholders to strengthen student intake planning and institutional reputation
* Lead segmented campaigns and engagement initiatives to improve student attraction, retention, and brand value
* Manage departmental budgets, reporting systems, performance indicators, and operational plans
* Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and best practices across student affairs and trainee services
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Administration, or related discipline
* Minimum 15 years of professional experience with at least 7 years in a managerial role
* Strong background in educational counselling, student affairs, trainee development, or academic administration
* Experience managing student registration systems and reporting tools within educational institutions
* Excellent understanding of trainee engagement, student support, and academic intervention strategies
* Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
* Leadership experience in educational institutions, training academies, or student-centered environments
* Strong stakeholder management skills across internal departments and external government entities
* Ability to align student services with workforce planning and organizational development objectives
