Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons aligned with the British curriculum (IGCSE, AS, and A Level)
* Create a positive learning environment that supports academic excellence and scientific inquiry
* Manage classroom behavior effectively and implement best practices in student engagement
* Assess and monitor student progress through a variety of formative and summative tools
* Support students in exam preparation and guide them toward academic achievement
* Collaborate with department staff to maintain consistent teaching standards and content delivery
* Participate in short-term planning and contribute to school events and science initiatives
Job Requirements
Education
* Master’s degree in Chemistry
* Valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent
Experience
* Previous experience teaching Chemistry in a British curriculum school is essential
* Experience with IGCSE and A-Level content delivery is highly desirable
Skills
* Strong classroom management and communication abilities
* Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and teaching schedules
