Role Context
The UAE SST and Moral Education Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening curriculum quality, academic standards, and values-based learning across relevant grade levels. This position works closely with teachers and school leadership to ensure Social Studies and Moral Education programs are delivered effectively while supporting student development and full compliance with UAE educational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of Social Studies and Moral Education curriculum across assigned grade levels.
Ensure curriculum delivery is fully aligned with UAE Ministry of Education, KHDA, and school academic requirements.
Support teachers in creating engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons that improve learning outcomes.
Monitor teaching quality and provide mentoring, guidance, and professional support to teaching staff.
Track student progress and provide academic recommendations and intervention strategies where required.
Promote values of respect, tolerance, responsibility, and cultural awareness through curriculum delivery and school initiatives.
Collaborate with school leadership to improve curriculum quality, relevance, and academic performance.
Prepare academic reports, curriculum documentation, and supporting materials for inspections and compliance reviews.
Support school improvement plans and contribute to leadership meetings related to academic excellence.
Maintain strong communication with parents, teachers, and stakeholders regarding student development and curriculum goals.
Participate in staff development sessions and whole-school educational planning activities.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Studies, Moral Education, or a related field is required.
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience is mandatory.
At least 2 years of leadership or coordinator experience is required.
Strong knowledge of UAE SST and Moral Education framework is essential.
Excellent command of both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is mandatory.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Experience in UAE schools with KHDA and Ministry of Education standards is highly preferred.
Ability to inspire both teachers and students in values-based education.
