Role Context
The Value and Character Education Specialist plays a key role in shaping students’ personal growth, moral development, and understanding of Islamic values across the school community. This position works closely with students, teachers, parents, and leadership teams to ensure Quranic education, ethical development, and character-building initiatives are effectively delivered and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver workshops, activities, and sessions focused on ethical decision-making, empathy, leadership, and Islamic values.
Promote a positive school culture by leading initiatives based on faith, integrity, compassion, and responsibility.
Support the integration of Islamic teachings into the wider curriculum across different age groups and learning levels.
Collaborate with teachers to align classroom learning with values-based education and Quranic understanding.
Monitor and evaluate student progress in Quran recitation, memorization, and proper Tajweed application.
Assess the effectiveness of character education programs and recommend improvements for stronger educational impact.
Develop student engagement programs that strengthen moral responsibility and cultural awareness.
Work closely with parents and the wider community to support Islamic character-building initiatives.
Prepare reports, documentation, and program evaluations related to values education and student development.
Support school leadership in implementing faith-based wellbeing programs and cultural enrichment activities.
Participate in staff development sessions and contribute to whole-school improvement strategies.
Ideal Profile
Master’s degree in Islamic Education or a related field is required.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Dubai is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Quranic education, Tajweed rules, and Islamic teaching methodologies.
Previous experience in values education, character development, or Islamic curriculum leadership is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and workshop facilitation abilities.
Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and school leadership.
