Key Responsibilities
* Support the Principal in leading a safe, orderly, and effective school environment that promotes high-quality teaching and learning.
* Direct and quality assure the work of staff and students to ensure smooth daily operations and strong academic standards.
* Administer the annual school assessment and monitoring schedule in collaboration with the senior leadership team and department leaders.
* Supervise, evaluate, and support teachers, supervisors, and curriculum support staff as assigned.
* Contribute to recruitment activities by screening, interviewing, and recommending applicants for teaching and non-teaching roles.
* Implement student achievement improvement plans aligned with the school development plan, ADEK regulations, and Aldar Education priorities.
* Lead assessment-related processes including MAP, Exact Path, testing schedules, attainment tracking, progress reporting, data collection, student records, and archiving.
* Collaborate with senior leaders on instructional methods, teaching materials, curriculum strategies, and school improvement programmes.
* Support staff CPD planning to strengthen teaching quality, professional growth, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure required reports, forms, data requests, and compliance submissions are completed accurately and on time.
* Work with administrators, staff, parents, and external agencies to improve collaboration, communication, and school effectiveness.
* Carry out additional leadership duties assigned by the School Principal.
Ideal Profile
* BA in Education or BA Degree with a relevant teaching qualification is essential.
* Master’s in Education, Education Leadership, NPQH, or a similar professional qualification is required.
* Minimum 6 years of education experience, including at least 4 consecutive years with teaching performance exceeding standards and expectations.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a middle leadership role.
* Proven experience leading school initiatives that improved standards, achievement, teaching quality, or student progress.
* Experience working with parents, external agencies, and wider school stakeholders.
* Very good or outstanding teaching background with proven success across the ability range.
* Middle leadership experience is essential, while senior leadership experience is desirable.
* Strong experience in line management, performance management, staff development, and school improvement planning.
* Previous experience in more than one international school is an advantage.
* Confident leader with excellent interpersonal skills, professional judgement, and a student-centered approach.
