In this essential role, you’ll be instrumental in boosting enrollment by promoting our educational programs to prospective students. We’re looking for a candidate with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their educational and career goals.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with Prospects: Reach out and connect with prospective students through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person consultations.
- Generate Leads: Build a robust pipeline by generating leads through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online outreach.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct discussions to assess students\' needs and recommend suitable programs based on their goals.
- Product Knowledge: Become well-versed in our programs, curricula, admission requirements, and key selling points to effectively highlight their benefits.
- Application Support: Guide prospective students through the application process, helping them with document submissions, deadlines, and fee inquiries for a smooth experience.
- Handle Objections: Address any concerns regarding our programs, admissions criteria, tuition, financial aid, and career outcomes.
- Meet Sales Targets: Work proactively to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment and revenue goals.
- Follow Up: Maintain regular contact with leads to nurture relationships, provide updates, and support enrollment decisions.
- Build Relationships: Establish rapport with prospective students to encourage referrals and cultivate long-term connections.
- Manage CRM: Keep detailed records of all interactions, application statuses, and enrollment outcomes in our CRM system.
- Collaborate: Team up with admissions, academic departments, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to develop effective strategies for lead generation, conversion, and retention.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and feedback to boost your effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in education or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport, influence decisions, and close deals.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for facilitating educational and career aspirations.
- Results-driven attitude with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or sales management systems.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends for recruitment events as needed.
- Previous experience in admissions, education, or student services is a plus.
