Role Context
The Arabic A Teacher - Language and Literature will deliver
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver Arabic A lessons for primary and secondary students.
* Teach Arabic reading, writing, grammar, speaking, comprehension and literature.
* Apply strong subject knowledge to create accurate and academically challenging lessons.
* Design learning activities that encourage discussion, creativity and independent thinking.
* Translate curriculum objectives into clear lesson outcomes and progressive learning sequences.
* Differentiate instruction according to students\' attainment levels and learning requirements.
* Prepare suitable texts, worksheets, presentations, digital materials and assessment activities.
* Monitor student understanding through questioning, written work, presentations and formal assessments.
* Provide timely feedback that improves language accuracy, fluency and literary understanding.
* Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic intervention.
* Maintain organised records of lesson planning, attendance, assessment and student progress.
* Use performance evidence to adjust teaching methods and establish individual learning targets.
* Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
* Apply effective behaviour management strategies and maintain positive learning routines.
* Integrate information technology, audiovisual content and digital learning tools into instruction.
* Encourage appreciation of Arabic language, literature, heritage and cultural identity.
* Build respectful and productive relationships with students.
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding achievement, progress and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, teaching resources and departmental priorities.
* Share effective classroom practices and support collective academic improvement.
* Participate in staff meetings, appraisal processes and Continuing Professional Development programmes.

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Arabic Language and Literature or an equivalent recognised qualification.
* Valid teacher qualification or professional teaching certification.
* Minimum 2 years of experience teaching primary and secondary levels.
* Strong command of Arabic grammar, composition, comprehension and literature.
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Proven commitment to high-quality teaching and student achievement.
* Creative and enthusiastic approach inside and outside the classroom.
* Ability to design lessons for students with different academic needs.
* Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
