Role Context
The Arabic A Teacher - Native Language Studies will help
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver Arabic A lessons for primary and secondary students.
* Teach Arabic reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar and literature using strong subject expertise.
* Design stimulating lessons that promote fluency, comprehension and confident written expression.
* Translate curriculum objectives into clear learning outcomes and well-sequenced classroom activities.
* Adapt instruction for students with different attainment levels, learning styles and educational needs.
* Prepare teaching materials, literary texts, digital content and independent learning activities.
* Use creative methods to encourage student participation, critical thinking and language development.
* Assess student achievement through classwork, homework, presentations, projects and formal examinations.
* Provide specific and timely feedback that helps students improve accuracy and subject understanding.
* Monitor individual progress and introduce targeted support when learning gaps are identified.
* Maintain organised records of planning, attendance, assessment and student attainment.
* Use performance evidence to refine instruction and establish suitable academic targets.
* Create an inclusive, respectful and motivating classroom environment.
* Apply effective classroom management strategies and maintain high standards of student conduct.
* Use educational technology, audiovisual resources and digital learning platforms appropriately.
* Encourage students to explore Arabic culture, literature and contemporary communication.
* Build positive relationships with students and support their academic confidence.
* Communicate professionally with parents regarding achievement, progress and development needs.
* Work closely with departmental colleagues on curriculum planning and teaching resources.
* Share successful classroom practices and contribute to departmental improvement.
* Participate in staff meetings, appraisal activities and professional development programmes.
* Support extracurricular activities, cultural celebrations and wider school events.
* Contribute positively to school initiatives inside and outside the classroom.

* Undertake other teaching and organisational responsibilities assigned by school leadership.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Arabic Language and Literature.
* Native Arabic speaker.
* Recognised teacher qualification or teaching certification.
* Minimum 2 years of experience teaching primary and secondary students.
* Excellent written and spoken English equivalent to IELTS 6 or above.
* Strong command of Arabic grammar, composition, reading and literary analysis.
* Demonstrated commitment to high-quality teaching and student development.
* Ability to create engaging lessons for learners at different attainment levels.
* Creative and enthusiastic approach to classroom and extracurricular activities.
* Strong classroom management and student engagement capabilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
