Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver Arabic A lessons for students at primary level.
* Teach reading, handwriting, composition, grammar, vocabulary and oral communication.
* Introduce age-appropriate Arabic literature, stories, poetry and informational texts.
* Translate curriculum standards into clear lesson objectives and learning outcomes.
* Design activities that encourage active participation, creativity and independent thinking.
* Prepare structured lesson plans, worksheets, presentations and digital resources.
* Adapt instruction for students with different attainment levels and learning needs.
* Use visual, oral, written and interactive teaching approaches in mixed-ability classrooms.
* Strengthen students\' pronunciation, fluency and confidence in spoken Arabic.
* Develop accurate written expression through guided and independent writing tasks.
* Assess learning through classwork, reading activities, assignments, projects and formal evaluations.
* Provide clear feedback that helps students improve language accuracy and comprehension.
* Analyse assessment results and identify individual or class learning gaps.
* Deliver targeted support and extension activities based on student progress.
* Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments and achievement.
* Establish a respectful, inclusive and well-organised classroom environment.
* Apply consistent behaviour management strategies that protect learning time.
* Use educational technology and information technology tools to enrich lesson delivery.
* Promote appreciation of Arabic language, literature, heritage and cultural identity.
* Build positive and supportive relationships with students.
* Communicate professionally with parents regarding progress and development priorities.
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, resources and departmental initiatives.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school improvement activities.
* Contribute to cultural events, extracurricular programmes and wider school life.
* Follow safeguarding requirements, school policies and professional teaching standards.
* Support Ministry of Education expectations and inspection-readiness procedures.
* Complete additional academic duties assigned by school leadership.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor\'s degree in Arabic Language and Literature.
* Recognised teacher qualification or professional teaching certification.
* Native Arabic speaker.
* Minimum 2 years of experience teaching at primary level.
* Very good written and spoken English.
* Strong knowledge of Arabic grammar, literature, reading and written composition.
* Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching and continuous student progress.
* Creative and enthusiastic approach inside and outside the classroom.
* Ability to design age-appropriate lessons for varied learning abilities.
* Strong classroom management and student engagement capabilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
* Ability to build constructive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
* Confidence using information technology and educational technology resources.
* Organised approach to planning, assessment, recordkeeping and reporting.
* Commitment to becoming an exceptional educator through professional development.
* MOE TLS licence is preferred but not essential.
