The Arabic B Teacher - Language Acquisition will help students develop confidence
in listening, speaking, reading and writing Arabic as an additional language. The teacher will design accessible learning experiences, adapt instruction to different proficiency levels and use continuous assessment to support measurable language development.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver Arabic B lessons for primary and secondary students following the approved curriculum.
* Develop practical listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through purposeful language activities.
* Introduce vocabulary, grammar and sentence structures in clear and relevant contexts.
* Plan progressive lessons with defined learning objectives and suitable success criteria.
* Create engaging tasks that encourage students to communicate actively in Arabic.
* Adapt instruction for learners with different language abilities, academic needs and learning styles.
* Prepare worksheets, visual aids, presentations, reading materials and digital learning resources.
* Use pair work, group activities, role-play and guided conversation to strengthen oral fluency.
* Assess student performance through written work, speaking tasks, projects and formal evaluations.
* Provide constructive feedback that improves pronunciation, comprehension, accuracy and written expression.
* Identify learning gaps and provide focused intervention or extension activities.
* Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments and student progress.
* Use assessment evidence to revise teaching strategies and establish appropriate learning targets.
* Build an inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident practising Arabic.

Ideal Profile

* Native Arabic speaker.
