Role Context

The Associate Assistant Principal - MOE plays a strategic executive role within the leadership team by managing all Ministry of Education subjects and ensuring academic, operational, and regulatory excellence. This position supports curriculum delivery, staff development, student welfare, and institutional compliance while strengthening communication between leadership, teachers, parents, and students.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all MOE subjects including Arabic, Islamic Studies, and related curriculum areas across the school
* Ensure a safe and secure environment that supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Maintain full compliance of the MOE programme with legal, financial, organisational, and regulatory requirements
* Support the Principal in strategic planning, policy development, and school improvement initiatives aligned with accreditation standards
* Oversee curriculum development, instructional quality, extracurricular activities, timetabling, and quality assurance for MOE subjects
* Monitor the effectiveness of teaching practices, assessment systems, and student learning outcomes
* Act as an advocate and spokesperson for MOE programmes with parents, students, teachers, and external stakeholders
* Lead the design and implementation of curriculum, instruction, and standards-based assessment practices
* Ensure staff receive appropriate professional development, resources, and leadership support for successful performance
* Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to strengthen operational structures and whole-school success

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies with a Professional Diploma in Teaching
* Master’s Degree or Diploma in Educational Leadership or Educational Administration is required
* Minimum 5 years of teaching and leadership experience in an international school environment
