Position Overview
Distribution Center Supervisor - Grocery Warehouse Operations in Dubai, UAE oversees daily warehouse activities supporting Talabat’s grocery and quick commerce distribution network. The role ensures efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, order preparation, and dispatch operations while maintaining high operational standards, safety compliance, and timely fulfillment of customer orders across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packaging, and dispatch activities.
* Ensure warehouse processes operate efficiently in accordance with company procedures and service level agreements.
* Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate quantities and proper documentation.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct warehouse audits to verify stock accuracy.
* Oversee processing, packaging, and storage of materials, equipment, and grocery supplies within warehouse facilities.
* Plan and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules to maintain smooth flow of goods and optimize warehouse capacity.
* Monitor warehouse safety practices and ensure compliance with operational standards.
* Improve warehouse efficiency by monitoring operational procedures, space utilization, and workflow management.
* Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure proper protection of materials and operational infrastructure.
* Prepare operational reports covering warehouse performance, shipment activity, and inventory levels.
* Support warehouse teams and ensure effective coordination between logistics, supply chain, and store operations.
* Apply specialized knowledge in meat handling and butchery product storage to ensure quality and food safety compliance.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution center operations.
* At least 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience managing warehouse teams.
* Experience within FMCG, food distribution, grocery operations, or e-commerce logistics environments.
* Practical experience handling meat products or butchery operations within food supply chains.
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory tracking tools.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage operational teams.
