Key Responsibilities
* Support and deputise for the Head of Primary in leading school operations and academic performance
* Promote safeguarding, student wellbeing, and child protection across the primary school
* Contribute to school improvement planning, strategic direction, and self-evaluation processes
* Lead and develop teaching staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
* Monitor student progress, staff performance, and overall school effectiveness
* Ensure implementation of school policies and compliance with regulatory frameworks
* Maintain and promote school ethos, values, and community engagement
* Oversee daily school routines, organisation, and operational efficiency
* Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Support alignment with National Curriculum for England and inspection frameworks
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Education with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification
* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a British curriculum primary school
* Proven experience in a leadership or deputy head role
* Strong understanding of curriculum standards and inspection frameworks
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to inspire staff and improve student outcomes
* Commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence
