We are looking to hire an organized and charismatic Education Counselor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students interested in studying abroad, providing information on program options, eligibility requirements, application procedures, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with program providers and academic advisors to ensure that students are properly matched with appropriate study abroad programs that align with their academic and personal goals.
- Process and review student applications, ensuring that all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Communicate regularly with students to keep them informed of their application status and any necessary next steps.
- Assist students in securing necessary travel documents, including visas and passports.
- Organize pre-departure orientations to ensure that students are fully prepared for their study abroad experience.
- Work closely with program providers to resolve any issues that may arise during the admissions process or while students are abroad.
- Maintain accurate records of student applications and program information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, Bachelors degree
- Experience in student services, study abroad program administration, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply for this job.
- Knowledge of study abroad program options, requirements, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with student information systems.
