Key Responsibilities
* Support the Principal and leadership team in driving school improvement and instructional excellence.
* Deliver teaching responsibilities as required while modeling outstanding classroom practices.
* Monitor classroom teaching through lesson observations, learning walks, and coaching discussions.
* Guide teachers in planning effective lessons with clear learning objectives, differentiation, and assessment strategies.
* Provide targeted coaching and mentoring to teachers and middle leaders to strengthen instructional practice.
* Design and deliver professional development sessions including team teaching, lesson modeling, and training workshops.
* Evaluate teaching and learning strategies using student performance and progress data.
* Support curriculum planning to ensure progression, challenge, and alignment with national curriculum standards.
* Promote the use of educational technology to enhance learning experiences and literacy development.
* Contribute to a collaborative school culture that supports teacher wellbeing and professional growth.
Ideal Profile
* Recognised teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent degree.
* Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding classroom teaching.
* Experience coaching teachers and leading professional learning initiatives.
* Strong understanding of effective pedagogy, literacy instruction, and assessment strategies.
* Ability to analyse data to improve teaching effectiveness and student progress.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience within a GEMS school environment is advantageous.
