Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage curriculum delivery across Business, Economics, and vocational subjects
* Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and academic performance across the department
* Monitor student progress and implement targeted improvement strategies
* Oversee assessment frameworks including BTEC verification and examination preparation
* Mentor and develop teaching staff through coaching, evaluation, and professional development
* Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
* Engage with parents through reporting systems, meetings, and school events
* Develop partnerships with universities, industry, and external organisations
* Contribute to school inspection readiness, self-evaluation, and improvement planning

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent qualification
* Proven leadership experience in a secondary school setting
* Strong subject expertise in Business and Economics
* Deep understanding of British curriculum standards and assessment frameworks
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities
* Ability to inspire teams and improve student outcomes
