Role Context
The Head of MOE is responsible for leading Arabic and Islamic Education standards while ensuring full compliance with Ministry of Education requirements. This role supports teaching quality, curriculum consistency, and student achievement across primary levels while helping strengthen the school’s academic reputation and alignment with national education expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and delivery of Arabic and Islamic Education programmes across primary classes
* Ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Education curriculum standards and academic policies
* Support teachers with lesson planning, instructional quality, and classroom performance improvement
* Monitor teaching standards and student achievement across Arabic and Islamic subjects
* Promote outstanding learning and teaching practices throughout the department
* Collaborate with school leadership to strengthen curriculum continuity and academic outcomes
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student success
* Participate in school improvement planning and educational development initiatives
* Encourage engagement in extracurricular activities and community-based learning events

Ideal Profile
* Bachelor of Education or Bachelor’s degree majoring in Arabic and Islamic Education
* Proven experience teaching primary classes with strong curriculum knowledge
* Previous academic leadership or department coordination experience preferred
* Strong understanding of UAE Ministry of Education requirements
* Excellent classroom leadership and team collaboration abilities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
