Key Responsibilities
* Lead pastoral care and wellbeing for the Year 7 student cohort
* Support smooth transition from primary to secondary school
* Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, and student engagement
* Monitor academic progress and coordinate targeted interventions
* Manage and support Year 7 form tutors and teaching staff
* Build strong relationships with parents and maintain clear communication
* Foster a positive year group culture through enrichment activities
* Track attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing data to support student success
* Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding compliance
* Contribute to whole-school initiatives and improvement strategies
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with PGCE or equivalent qualification
* Proven leadership experience in a school environment
* Strong understanding of student wellbeing and pastoral care practices
