Key Responsibilities
* Lead teaching and learning standards across the assigned year group
* Monitor pupil progress, behaviour, and attendance, implementing improvement strategies
* Support and coach teachers to enhance classroom performance and outcomes
* Promote a positive culture of wellbeing, behaviour, and academic achievement
* Work closely with parents to support student development and progress
* Lead year group planning, meetings, and school events
* Support safeguarding, student welfare, and inclusion initiatives
* Coordinate transition, admissions, and induction processes
* Plan and manage trips, enrichment activities, and student programmes
* Contribute to staff development, performance management, and school improvement plans
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with PGCE or equivalent qualification
* Proven leadership experience within a school environment
* Strong understanding of British curriculum standards and inspection frameworks
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teaching staff
* Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
